My Story
I have been a fashionista, in my own right,
since I was a young girl growing up in Winfield, Ks. My love of fashion took me
to California to the Fashion Institute of Design and Marketing in 2001. After a
short trip to LA, I realized I was a small town girl with big city dreams. But
I continued on with daily life, exploring different markets and industries.
For several years, I thought about opening a boutique. I dreamed of starting a business I could call my own. One that combined my two passions: fashion and helping others. My loving husband, Carl, was very supportive and encouraged me to build a business. I started to with a wholesale company called Ze Rose Collection. After purchasing several hundred dollars worth of fashion jewelry and pouring money and most of my energy into marketing, I realized that working full-time, being a wife and mother, to my Darling daughter, Roslynne, AND starting a company from scratch would be much more work than I first imagined. Since I already had a lot of overhead in the jewelery that I sold, I decided to open my home and begin displaying some of my merchandise. But first I needed some displays for the jewelry that I had already purchased. I turned to Craigslist. I met with a gal, named Pam, that was selling her Premier Designs Kit which included displays, a carrying case, jewelry trays and even jewelry! I had never heard of Premier Designs, but I coveted all the items that she was selling. I decided that selling this jewelry along with the items I had already purchased would be a great way to earn my original investment back on the wholesale items. Pam told me that she had a lot going on in her life, but because she loved Premier Designs, she didn't want to put it all in a closet to collect dust. Caring for her children and finishing her degree consumed all of her time... Unfortunately, Pam couldn’t make the time for Premier Designs. She did, however, take the time to tell me that if I was interested in selling Premier Designs, I should give Julie Miller a call. I scoured the web to see what I could find but there wasn't a lot of information available. Even though information was scarce, I was thrilled to see that when I DID come across something, it was positive! My mind was made up. And since I knew I wouldn’t get very far on my own, I decided to give Julie a call.
Sometimes when you feel that spiritual nudge, you don't understand why you're being pulled in one direction or another. You just know that what you’re doing feels right. This was definitely one of those times.
I love jewelry. I love the time I spend with other women. I also love making money!
Premier Designs allows me to make my dream of owning my own jewelry business a reality. I have a strong company that I believe in whole-heartedly that in turn believes in ME. I know there’s always someone there to back me up and keep me in business. The hostess plan really enables me to give back to those who are helping me while they’re supporting their own jewelry habit (for FREE!).
